'Worrying About Money?' cash first referral leaflets are co-designed as straightforward resources both for people facing money worries and support workers. The step-by-step guides identify which local agencies are best placed to help people maximise income and access any existing financial entitlements.

Grants for individuals
Cosaraf Hardship Grants of up to £2,000 are available to charities, housing associations, schools and social services providing support for individuals and families across the UK who are in financial need.The Cosaraf Charitable Foundation’s Hardship Grants will support individuals and families who have exhausted all other sources of funding and are struggling with everyday costs, such as basic living expenses, household items and utilities, work- or education-related expenses, or rent arrears.
Priority will be given to:
Focus of fund/fund aims: Small grants for organisations providing support to families and individuals in financial need.
Application deadline: Applications may be submitted at any time and are considered every six weeks.

- families over individuals
- those with caring responsibilities
- items that will make the most difference to the individual/family’s long-term future

- Rent arrears and council tax arrears, but only where there is a clear and obvious risk of homelessness
- Contribution to immigration-related costs, where the current immigration status directly causes financial hardship to the applicant

Knowledge Hubs
CAF Charity Resource Hub - Recognizing the pressure economic and political volatility in the UK and across the world is putting on charities and CAF is working hard on the ways they can provide support. They launched a Cost-of-Living Resource Hub, in collaboration with a number of partner organisations. It's full of practical guidance and tools to help charities navigate these challenging times.
The government has updated the 'Help for Households’ stakeholder toolkit, created in response to increasing prices and pressures around the cost of living. There are 41 schemes available to support citizens all of which can be found on the Help for Households Support website. Please share the Help for Households toolkit, which includes free-to-download social media assets, newsletter copy, leaflets and FAQs, to help those most in need access the range of support available at this time.
NEA has developed a series of multi-lingual information leaflets aimed at frontline workers to help provide advice in the communities. These are suitable to distribute at public-facing events and to help you share information with those who need it. They also offer a training programme for frontline workers

Knowledge Hub | Homeless Link - contains a variety of resources – practice guidance, webinar recordings, podcasts, policy briefings and research papers on a wide variety of topics.
The Priority Places for Food Index is a composite index formed of data compiled across seven different dimensions relating to food insecurity for England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland. Its goal is to identify neighbourhoods that are most vulnerable to increases in the cost of living and which have a lack of accessibility to cheap, healthy, and sustainable sources of food. And there are some high priority places within Teignbridge and South Hams and this tool may well help you evidence need.

Warm Welcome is a coalition of charities that have come together to support organisations to open their doors and provide a warm welcome for those struggling to heat their homes this winter. Warm Spaces provides an online directory of warm spaces over a larger geographical area.
